SILC has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Outdoors there are two basketball courts, four tennis courts, one grass football pitch, and one 400-metre track.

The indoor facilities include Xing Jian Activity Centre and two gyms. The Xing Jian Activity Center provides a leisure and entertainment site for both students and staff. The Center includes a dance hall, a table-tennis room, a fitness center, a VIP lounge, and a multi-functional hall with space for three badminton courts.

The two gyms provide badminton courts, table-tennis facilities, a yoga room, and a piano room.

The SILC library though not large in size, has a large quantity of books and materials from overseas universities, especially from SILC’s partner- the University of Technology, Sydney.

It is open to both staff and students and offers services such as e-journal accessing, borrowing, renewing, and Internet information searching.

SILC has two modern buildings for its dining halls, one of them a Muslim dining hall serving “halal” food, which is popular with Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

The warm and welcoming staff serves students with fresh, healthy, and tasty meals with a variety of menu choices. Student feedback is very positive about the standard of the dining service.

The Hub Café provides a “western” selection of coffee and soft drinks as well as fresh bread and cakes and is extremely popular with students and teachers alike.
