More than 70 international students come to SILC in this Spring semester 2015. In order to create an international campus life and strengthen the friendship between Chinese students and international students, SILC held ‘2015 Chinese & International friendly basketball match’ on 17th of April。
The '2015 Chinese & International friendly basketball match’ was held on Jiading campus at 12:30 pm. The opening ceremony was addressed by Ms. Wei Jingfen, Vice Dean of SILC. SILC students made up Chinese team, while the international team was composed of students from Germany, Finland and Netherlands. Many teachers and students came to enjoy the match. After a fierce competition, international team won the trophy by a margin of 41:37. Prof. Li Shuang, CPC Secretary of SILC, awarded MVPs and international team, and Prof. Mao Yanbing, Vice Dean of SILC awarded Chinese team..
The match was full of passion and friendship which touched everyone.The determined spirit of Chinese and international players impressed the audience. SILC has successfully held many international sports events for students such as soccer match, and this tradition is warmly welcomed by Chinese students and international students.
