On May 4th, post graduate students from Fresenius University guided by Professor Dr Richard C. Geibel, have come to SILC for one-week research excursion activity. The deputy dean of our college, Professor Mao Yanbing and the director of the International Office welcomed them warmly. SILC teachers delivered lectures concerning with various aspects, including Chinese government perspective, the development of Chinese logistics management, Chinese business culture and the current situation of Chinese middle class, making both German teacher and students to have a preliminary knowledge about current Chinese economic status and commercial operation.
German students and teacher visited the Confucius Temple and Jiading Old Street, besides; they were also impressed by Chinese traditional culture like Chinese tea culture. In the following days, the International Department also arranged Shanghai one-day city tour and company visits for them---Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. Ltd and Shanghai Volkswagen factory. This is the first international students exchange on the level of postgraduate study in SILC. It has laid foundations for the long-term cooperation of postgraduate students from SILC and Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences.
