On 11th, January, the Third"SILC Cup" Global Trade Contest (Final round) was held in Xingjian Cultural & Sports Center. This match was composed of preliminary round and final round, lasting 8 weeks. 39 teams, including 260 students, took part in the contest. After 4-week preparation and preliminary round, 15 teams including 90 students took part in the final round.
The final round of Contest included Negotiation section and Product Demonstration section. A panel of judges were composed of winners in previous Global Trade Contests and Jia Lijun, Zhou Xi, Wu Maoguo, Gu Haiyue who were professional teachers from Department of Economics and English Teaching Department. After one-day contest, "Vintage Dressing Kits" and "Egg Carving" won First Prizes; “Paper Furniture", "Handkerchief", "Star Observatory" won Second Prizes; "Lacquer", “Ice Wine" and "Ink Stick" won Third Prizes. Professor Hu Xiaohan, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs of SILC, and Ms. Jia Lijun, adviser of International Trade Contest awarded certificates to winners.
