On behalf of SILC Business School, Ms Meng Ruiqiong and Liu Fang, Managers of International Office, participated in Russian Education Exhibition on March 22 in Moscow, promoting SILC programs to international students. The education fair has total participants of 93 schools and 197 institutions.
Meetings with 41 organizations from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Armenia were arranged to promote the newly opened English-taught Foundation Program, four undergraduate programs, seven master’s programs, and one doctoral program. Questions regarding tuition, living expenses, accommodation, transportation, internships, employment, and scholarships were explained in details. It has also been learned that the enthusiasm of students in Russian and Central Asian countries for learning Chinese, Chinese culture and studying in China has been rising year by year. However, they are generally unclear about China's higher education, policies regarding visa, internship and employment, so the relevant information are urgently requested.
Through this exhibition, we also communicated with educators from other countries’ universities and gained valuable experience in market research, market publicity, enrollment channels, student information management, and so on. In the future, we will apply to enrollment practices to enhance international student enrollment and management.
As the only participant from China, SIL represented Shanghai and China again. In the future, we will continue to actively participate in global education exhibition and commit ourselves to provide global students with quality educational resources and services.
SILC, your road to the future.
