In early 2025, SILC Business School, led by Secretary Lyu Kangjuan, received official notification from AACSB President Sherif H. Kamel, confirming its reaccreditation for another six years. This achievement follows the school’s initial five-year accreditation in 2020, marking another significant milestone.
During a two-day on-site visit in November 2024, the AACSB review team conducted a comprehensive evaluation through alumni discussions, campus tours, and interviews with faculty, staff, and students. The team praised SILC’s continuous improvement practices and unanimously recommended reaccreditation.
Since its initial accreditation in 2020, SILC has become a model for dozens of universities and business schools in China and abroad, supported by its partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School.
AACSB, founded in 1916 by leading universities such as Harvard and the University of Chicago, is the world’s premier accreditation body for business and accounting programs. Its accreditation is recognized as the gold standard for business schools globally, signifying excellence in teaching quality.
