At the start of the new spring semester, SILC warmly welcomed 43 exchange students from 10 countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Finland, and Russia. The welcome ceremony was attended by Dr. Gu Haodong, Director of the International Office, and hosted by Ms. Zhu Xiaoqiu, International Program Coordinator.
Dr. Gu extended a warm welcome to the exchange students, introducing SILC business school while encouraging students to make the most of their exchange to understand China from business, cultural, and economic perspectives.
Following the ceremony, Ms. Zhu and student mentors guided the exchange students on a tour of Shanghai. Through company visits, ntangible cultural heritage workshops, and visits to historical and cultural landmarks, the students had the opportunity to experience the charm of this international metropolis.
The welcoming event also was led by student Song Shuhui and Fu Qiao, while other mentors, He Xinyi, Wu Botian, and Ding Yuzong guided a campus tour, helping exchange students familiarize themselves with campus life.
