Recently, a delegation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), led by Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Partnership) Mr. Leo Mian Liu and Associate Dean (Research) Prof. Kathy Walsh from the UTS Business School, visited SILC Business School. The visit focused on strengthening academic collaboration, advancing research, and enhancing curriculum development.
During discussions, both institutions highlighted their commitment to cross-cultural academic exchange and interdisciplinary research. SILC Dean Prof. Bian Yiwen and Associate Dean Dr. Cai Zhenyao reflected on the achievements of the long-standing partnership between the two institutions including recent breakthroughs while Prof. Kathy Walsh further introduced UTS Business School’s recent initiatives facing growing social pressures. Both institutions affirmed their commitments to deepening research together, including the joint establishment of research centers and the submission of co-written research proposals.
The UTS delegation also engaged in conversations with SILC faculty and students. Students had the opportunity to learn more about UTS Business School’s doctoral programs and potential academic exchange opportunities.
This visit further deepened the partnership between SILC and UTS, paving the way for future collaboration in research and education.
