From May 12 to 16, SILC Business School hosted its annual Chinese Culture & International Communication Training Camp at the Jiading Campus. The week-long event aimed to deepen international students' understanding of Chinese culture and enhance their ability to communicate China's stories globally through immersive cultural experiences.

Key highlights included:

  1. Hanfu Culture Day and Filigree Inlay Craft Day (May 14–15), which offered hands-on experiences in traditional Chinese clothing (Hanfu) and intangible heritage crafts.

  1. The grand finale on May 16, a vibrant Chinese Culture Fair at Wenhui Square, featuring six interactive booths themed around regional cultures such as Haipai, Sichuan, Lingnan, and Northeast China. Chinese and international students jointly hosted the booths, introducing visitors to unique local customs and subcultures through games, cultural displays, and performances.

The event drew active participation from SILC's Chinese and international students, faculty, and guests from other departments and institutions, promoting meaningful cultural exchange and friendship.

The camp successfully enhanced cross-cultural understanding, fostered appreciation for Chinese traditions, and empowered students as global ambassadors of Chinese culture. With strong engagement and lasting impact, the 2025 training camp concluded on a high note—underscoring SILC's commitment to international education rooted in cultural heritage.
