The Orangino Rahabbino team from SILC Business School has been crowned global champion at the 2025 TFC Global Student Challenge (GSC), one of the world’s most prestigious supply chain competitions.

The team, comprised of Business Administration students Xu Xingyi, Zhou Yuqing, Wang Yuzhuo, and Ni Jiajing, was guided by faculty advisor Dr. Lü Qin for academic and modeling support and Ms. Luo Xiaorong, an industry expert  for practical mentoring. After advancing through a rigorous global qualifying round in March, where over 100 teams competed, they reached the global finals held on May 12–16.

This year’s finals brought together 42 teams from 41 universities across France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, India, South Korea, Vietnam, and China. Teams competed in a dynamic simulation of a struggling orange juice company, where each student played a key leadership role in sales, operations, procurement, or supply chain. The goal having to turn the company around through strategic, sustainable decision-making.

SILC's winning team stood out by building a robust and adaptable supply chain model focused on one of today’s most critical issues: carbon footprint reduction and supply chain sustainability. The students noted that the competition's real-world complexity and volatility pushed them to refine their data modeling, strategic thinking, and risk management skills, while balancing profitability with sustainable impact.
