SILC Business School Party Secretary Attends AACSB Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference and Delivers Keynote Speech

This June, the AACSB Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference was held in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together over 300 participants, including deans and experts from nearly 100 institutions and business schools worldwide. Notable attendees included Stephanie Bryant, Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer of AACSB, and Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President and Regional Director for Asia Pacific.

The conference focused on the future of global business school accreditation standards, the application of new technologies for continuous improvement, and how industry collaboration can enhance the social impact of education. During the event, Shanghai University, SILC Business School was recognized for its achievements in AACSB re-accreditation.

Professor Lv Kangjuan, Party Secretary of SILC Business School, was invited to deliver a keynote speech as a representative of a newly accredited business school and as a member of the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC). Together with Professor Segsarn Trai-ukos, Associate Dean of Chulalongkorn University's Sasin School of Management, they discussed the topic of "Successful Strategic Planning: Integrating Mission, Accreditation, and Agility".

The AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is a globally recognized accrediting body for top business and accounting programs, representing the highest achievements in business education worldwide. SILC received its initial AACSB accreditation in 2020 and, after adhering to AACSB’s mission-driven and continuous improvement philosophy, achieved re-accreditation in 2025.


At the conference, Professor Lv’s role as an AACSB mentor and committee expert highlighted the growing international reputation of SILC Business School and its innovative approach, further expanding the school’s global influence and collaborative opportunities.
