On December 2, SILC Business School welcomed a delegation from Bahrain Polytechnic, led by Prof. Ciaran ÒCathain Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Polytechnic, Dr. Louise O'Nolan Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs & Registrar, and Director of International Affairs Li Zhen. The delegation was guided by Mr. Jin, Qi from the Confucius Institute Office at Shanghai University.
SILC Party Secretary, Prof. Lyu, Kangjuan, along with Associate Professor Hou, Keqiang and Mr. Tang, Dingqiang from the International Office, hosted the meeting at the Wen Hui Building.
During the visit, both institutions introduced their academic strengths and unique features. The two sides engaged in constructive discussions on potential areas for future collaboration, including academic exchange and joint programs.
After the meeting, Prof. O’Cathain and his team were given a tour of the Jiading Campus to gain a deeper understanding of SILC’s learning environment and facilities.
