To promote integration between Chinese and international students and enrich campus cultural activities, the 2025 Cross-Culture Workshop and International Cultural Week was held from December 8th to 12th. Students and Teachers from around the world gathered to build bridges through culture, engaging in meaningful dialogue across continents.

The week-long event featured two main segments: “International Culture Days” and the “Cross-Cultural Workshop”.

On December 8th and 10th, Italian Culture Day and Indonesian Culture Day were successfully held at Wende 209, attracting active participation from a large number of Chinese and international students.

On December 12th, the culminating event of the Cross-Cultural Workshop—the Cross-Culture Workshop—kicked off at Wenhui Square on Jiading Campus. Twelve themed booths were set up, showcasing diverse cultures from the Americas, Southeast Asia, Europe, and more. Each booth offered unique displays, traditional food tasting, and cultural presentations, providing a holistic experience of different countries. The Cross-Culture Workshop was vibrant and full of engaging moments.

Through a diverse array of interactive activities, students gained firsthand experience of the unique appeal of different cultures. This event yielded remarkable outcomes: both Chinese and international students deepened their understanding of cultures worldwide, while intercultural awareness and mutual recognition were significantly strengthened. The series of activities not only facilitated communication and friendship among students from various backgrounds but also enhanced their cross-cultural communication competencies.
